FALLing in Love: Celebrating Indoors!

If your family is anything like mine, you’ve spent WAYYYYY more time indoors than outdoors even with the launch of pumpkin patches, trick or treating, and fall festivals. My son and I didn’t go out for the trunk or treats or festivals today, so we’ve decided to do something different instead that’s just as much fun. We’re bringing the festivities inside!

MicroNugget: Learning Intentionally

Y’all, it has been a week. I still feel shocked when thinking about some of the things that have happened over the past 7 days. I won’t go into the details, at least not right now, but let’s just say it was a very unexpected and negative experience. In case you didn’t know, Fall is THE best season of the year. May just be my opinion, but I like to believe I’m right about this 🙂 I love everything about Fall – the temperature starting to drop, the crisp air, the warm cozy vibes that fill every day. This year, I’ve even started searching for more home decor to really set the mood.

Skills to Win: Soft Skills

Hi guys! I hope everyone had a great weekend. For the next topic in Skills to Win, I wanted to spend some time talking about soft skills. While we’re in school, or even doing volunteer work at times, the majority of our focus is on developing and improving our technical skills – and rightfully so. Technical skills are extremely important. You need to have the proper training in order to do the job effectively. We hear about this all the time. But what about soft skills? How important are soft skills, and what are they exactly?

Five AMAZING Ways to De-stress

Photo by Guilherme Almeida on Pexels.com

Hi guys! Can you believe we’re already well into September? This has been such a full year! It’s hard to believe so much has been packed into just a few months, and this year is not over yet. Whether you’ve had a lot of good experiences this year or have gone through loss, we can all agree that there’s been a lot going on. It can be enough to make your head spin. Life is happening, and it’s coming at all of us fast. I think it’s safe to say that we’ve all been stressed out at some point this year, and ways to de-stress can be a little hard to come by. It can be hard to figure out where to start – especially if you’ve been highly stressed for a long time. Let me help with that!
