Our Favorite Christmas Movies!

Updated: 12/23/2021

We’ve been deep into Christmas movie marathons by this point in December. I took some extended time off from my day job this month to really soak in ‘all the feels’ with my son. He’s still super excited about Christmas since he’s still so young. So, after putting in a ton of work this year, it was past time for a long break from the norm to really reconnect – and at a pretty great time of the year too. One of the things we’ve been doing almost every day is watching Christmas movies! The old school movies like the Rankin/Bass animagics are my personal favorites, but there have been a few newer releases that have made my list as well. We’ve certainly tried to watch them all at least twice! I’ve also found books of a few of our favorite movies. My son loves to follow along while we watch. Here are my family’s recommendations for the Christmas movies you MUST watch (in no particular order) before this season is out! I’ll also link the movies where I’ve purchased the book so you can check them out for yourself. As you can see, we’re big fans of the classics.
